First Lady Michelle Obama launches College Signing Day program

The College Foundation of West Virginia is proud to support First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Reach Higher” initiative to promote college going and completion. First Lady Obama has declared May 1, 2015 as national “College Signing Day,” — a day to celebrate students who plan to pursue some form of education and training beyond high school and inspire them to take the steps necessary to achieve their dreams.

In recognition of national College Signing Day, CFWV will kick of its College Decision Day campaign on May 1. You can get involved in the Reach Higher effort by showing your support and sharing your students’ stories through social media! Tweet, post, and instagram photos and videos of your Decision Day events using the hashtags #ReachHigher and #CollegeBound. And be sure to tag @CFWV so that we can share your good work.
